Local SEO services that get you found by the people in your service area
Local SEO is the shortest path a local business has to more calls. Most businesses already rank well at their own door; the growth is in the fifteen kilometres around it, where people are searching right now and calling whoever Google shows first. We make sure that is you.

Your phone rings from the map, not just the website
For most local businesses the map pack sends more calls than the website does. When you sit in the top three, people tap and call without ever visiting a site. That is the fastest lead path there is, and it is the one we prioritise first.

You show up across your whole service area
Ranking at your own address is easy. Ranking twenty minutes away is the hard part, and it is where the money is. We measure how you rank on a grid across your service area and work on the parts of the map where you disappear.

Customers pick you before they compare
Reviews, photos, accurate hours and a complete profile do more than push you up the list. They decide who gets called out of the three businesses shown. We work on both the ranking and the reason someone chooses you.

Your cost per lead drops over time
Ads stop the day you stop paying. A map listing that earns its position keeps sending calls for years. Clients who stay with us usually see their blended cost per lead fall every quarter as organic takes more of the load.
Six reports, six different things we measure
Map coverage
Deck builder, Newmarket: 15 to 49 top-three points
A geo-grid scan checks your ranking from dozens of points spread across your service area and plots every one. Green is a top three position, amber is four to ten, red is eleven or worse. It is the only honest way to see how far your local visibility actually reaches, and it is usually the first thing that shocks an owner who thought they ranked fine.
What you are looking at: Geo-grid comparison for deck builder in Newmarket, top three rankings rising from 15 points to 49.
Google Business Profile
214 calls for a windows and doors company, up 41.7%
Calls, direction requests and profile views, taken straight from the client’s own Business Profile with Google’s own year over year comparison beside them. For most local businesses these numbers move before anything on the website does, which is why we fix the profile first.
What you are looking at: Google Business Profile calls report showing 214 calls for a windows and doors company, up 41.7 percent.
Search Console
16 months of steady click growth
Clicks and impressions from the client’s own Search Console. Impressions climbing first and clicks following a few weeks later is the normal shape of a campaign that is working. We show the flat months too, because a line that only ever goes up is not a report.
What you are looking at: Google Search Console over 16 months showing 4,860 clicks and 1.03 million impressions.
Keyword rankings
Waterproofing terms at number one in two cities
Where specific search terms sit today against where they started. We track the ones that book work rather than the ones with the biggest search volume, which is why you will see plenty of low volume terms on these lists.
What you are looking at: Top ranked keywords showing basement waterproofing terms at position one across Mississauga and Toronto.
AI search
AI Overview appearances growing across 144 keywords
Which terms now pull an AI Overview, and whether the client is named inside it. Being cited in the answer is worth more than the position underneath it, and this is how we check it rather than guessing.
What you are looking at: SERP features trend showing AI Overview appearances growing across 144 tracked keywords.
Leads and conversions
Form submissions, call clicks and email clicks
Form submissions, call clicks and conversions in Analytics. This is the number the whole campaign is judged on, and the reason we insist on call tracking before any work starts.
What you are looking at: Analytics event counts showing form submissions, call clicks and email clicks all rising.
Local SEO across Google, Bing, Apple Maps and AI search
Most of your organic leads will come from Google, and we say so plainly. A growing share of people start somewhere else though, and the businesses that are consistent everywhere are the ones that keep getting chosen.
Google Search
The bulk of Canadian search still runs through Google, and it is where most of your organic leads will come from.
Google Maps and the map pack
The top three local listings. For most service businesses this sends more calls than the website does.
Bing and Microsoft Copilot
Close to one in ten Canadian searches happens on Bing, which is higher than most owners assume. It also feeds Copilot answers.
Apple Maps
Every iPhone that asks for directions starts here. Apple Business Connect is free and almost nobody claims it properly.
Yelp and directories
Still ranks for plenty of service searches, and the details on it feed what other platforms believe about you.
ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity
AI assistants answer questions by reading and citing the open web. Being consistent, crawlable and quotable is what gets you named.
I’ve been using WEBLAB4U for the past couple of years to help with marketing and generating more leads for my business, and I’ve been very happy with the results.
Their team is professional, responsive, and understands what it takes to promote a business…
Correct primary category, every service listed, real business hours, service area set properly, photos that are actually yours, and posts that keep the profile active. This is the single highest-leverage asset in local search and most profiles are half finished.
Geo-grid rank tracking
We scan your rankings across a grid of points covering your service area, not one position from one location. You see exactly which neighbourhoods you own and which ones a competitor owns.
Citations and NAP consistency
Your name, address and phone number have to match everywhere Google looks. We clean up duplicates, fix wrong data on old directories and build the listings that matter in Canada.
Review generation and response
We set up a system that asks happy customers at the right moment, and we help you respond to everything, including the bad ones. Review volume and freshness both feed your ranking and your conversion rate.
Location and service pages
One page per service, and a page per city that genuinely deserves one. We do not spin out fifty near-identical city pages, because that is the fastest way to get a site filtered.
Local link building
Sponsorships, suppliers, associations, local press. Real relationships that produce real links from Canadian sites, not a package of directory spam.
How we run it
Our local SEO process, start to finish
Free audit. We look at where you stand today and tell you what is holding you back, whether or not you hire us.
Plan and priorities. A short plan in plain English, ordered by what will move first.
Build and fix. We do the work. You approve anything that touches your brand or your money.
Measure. Calls, forms and booked jobs, tracked properly from day one.
Review monthly. A call, a report you can read in five minutes, and what we are doing next.
We will not promise you a number one ranking, sign you to a twelve month contract, or hold your accounts hostage. Google itself tells business owners that guaranteed rankings are a warning sign, and we agree.
If we are not earning the fee, you should be able to leave. So you can.
Who our local SEO service is for
Built for businesses that serve a defined area and win work by phone: trades, clinics, shops, and anyone whose customers search “near me”. If your customers are national or you sell online only, national SEO is the better fit.
Other SEO services we run
Most clients combine two or three of these. Hiring us for one is completely fine too.
Faster than most SEO. Profile work often shows up in four to eight weeks, sometimes sooner if the profile was badly set up to begin with. Ranking further from your address takes longer because proximity is working against you.
Can you guarantee the top three?
No. Nobody can, and Google itself tells business owners to be sceptical of anyone who says otherwise. What we commit to is measurable improvement in map coverage, calls and direction requests, shown on a grid you can see.
Do reviews really change rankings?
Yes, and they change conversion even more. Volume, recency and whether you respond all matter. A listing with 200 recent reviews beats a listing with 40 old ones even when everything else is equal.
I do not have a storefront. Does local SEO still work?
Yes. Service area businesses rank differently but they rank. We hide your address, set the service area properly and lean harder on the signals that are not proximity based.
What if my Google Business Profile gets suspended?
We have handled reinstatements many times. The usual causes are an address that does not match reality, a keyword stuffed business name, or too many edits at once. We fix the cause, then file the appeal with evidence.
